How long does the SMP procedure take, and is there any downtime?
The initial session typically lasts 3-4 hours, with 2 follow-up sessions scheduled every 8 days to achieve the desired density. SMP is a minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime—there maybe slight redness that disapears within 24hrs, but you can were a hat if needed.
Is the procedure painful?
Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort, similar to a light scratching or tingling. If you are one of the rare cases that feel any pain, we can use numbing agents, as we don't want our clients to be uncomfortable.
